About your Captain
I live on the Eastern Shore and work as a Research Specialist for the University of Virginia and the Virginia Coast Reserve LTER. I've been very fortunate to have years of experience navigating Virginia's Seaside through all tides and seasons. This place is beyond unique, and the decades of conservation efforts here have created a coastal backcountry that I cherish. Word got out that I know the Seaside and I was getting requests to take people out into the coastal wilderness, so I decided to make it official and started an ecotour business.
I love the remoteness of the seaside and the history of our coastal communities here on the shore. I have a passion for coastal research, wildlife conservation, and exploring our coastal waterways. I look forward to sharing my years of knowledge navigating Virginia's Seaside and letting you experience an intimate adventure with this wonderfully unique place.
